Billy"Thumpah" Ferraro was infatuated with the drums and rhythm from day one. He finally got serious at around 14 and began playing professionally all around the NE area with numerous original and cover bands by age 19. Some of his previous bands are: Fortune, Tim Pike Band, BarrNone, LOD, Erick Preston's Purple Haze, Sweet Roy Jones just to name a few. Being into many styles of music, his influences run deep and in many directions. SOME of these influences are: Buddy Rich, Elvin Jones, Charlie Parker, Joe Morello, Dave Weckl, Vinnie Colaiuta, Dennis Chambers, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Paquito D'rivera, Neil Peart, John Bonham and Tommy Lee as well as endless other musicians/bands/genres.
